Our Team Weeks program plays an integral part in helping us fulfill our strategy of becoming the "Hometown Sporting Goods Store" in the communities we serve. This exciting program allows us to reach out and show our support to local non-profit organizations. It also helps to strengthen long-lasting relationships with existing customers, as well as building long-lasting relationships with new customers.

Team Weeks offers leagues, teams, schools and non-profit organizations the opportunity to shop our store and receive a 10% discount on all equipment, clothing and footwear during a specific 28-day shopping period. As the participants shop, their purchases are tracked, and at the end of their benefit period, when sales reach $1,500 or more, Modell’s donates 5% of the total back to their organization. Forty-five days after the benefit period ends they receive their 5% donation check.

Modell’s also gives the Team Weeks participants an opportunity to use their MVP cards while they shop. This means participants can earn MVP rewards while supporting their team, league, school or organization. Modell’s also develops personalized coupons for distribution within each organization. These coupons include the organization’s name and the discount offered with the specific shopping dates. In addition to the discounts, shopping days and vast selection of merchandise we carry, we also fill special request orders for teams participating in the program.
